In 2003 I started working on a C + Win32 API pt-BR programming book, since there were only a couple of Brazilian Portuguese books about the subject and most people from college only knew how to develop C programs in console mode.

After finishing the book's contents and learning more about the publishing process, printing, ISBN and so on, I decided to publish and sell the book by myself and in electronic format only.

Then in 2012 I released the book in PDF format for free via github (you can download a zip file containing the book in PDF format + example projects here).

It is a little outdated (i.e. it does not show my current programming style), but the contents are still valid, even if Windows 8 is here (useful for legacy apps and to understand native development).
